- The Evolution Lull: Never click the "Evolve" button while the enemy is actively hitting your base. There is a 2-second delay where you cannot spawn units. If you time it wrong, the enemy will break through while you are waiting to upgrade.
- Turret Stacking: Turrets are your best investment because they don't die. In the Stone Age, the "Egg Launcher" was very cheap and effective. Fill all your turret slots before spending too much on expensive infantry.
